I've stayed at the Hotel Arts many times and occasionally for periods of up to 3 weeks at a time. During a 3-week stay, you really get to know a hotel very well. I simply cannot find fault with this hotel. It really feels like a 'home from home', offering every comfort and with a level of service which few hotels in the world can match. The hotel is not expensive, given its well-deserved 5 star rating and exceptionally high standard of attention to clients.
The rooms are spacious, sumptuously appointed and with magnificent views over the beach, or the city.
In my experience, the staff are always friendly, attentive and anxious to please.
If you prefer an apartment rather than a comfortable en-suite room, the hotel has several such luxuriously-appointed apartments on the top floors.
The hotel has an excellent restaurant and the buffet breakfast is of the highest standard, with a range of breakfast foods and fruit, with both hot and cold dishes. Virtually anything which is not in the buffet will be quickly prepared for you. You can take your breakfast in the light and airy breakfast room, or on the outside sun terraces, overlooking the beach and hotel gardens.
There is an excellent gym, with a wide range of well-maintained exercise equipment.
Admittedly, the hotel pool is not large, but is still larger than any of the 'plunge pools' offered by the 5-star hotels in the city centre. There is a pool bar and restaurant overlooking the pool and gardens.
