I've stayed at this hotel several times, for just one night and up 2 weeks. It's a bit pricey, but pretty much lives up to its 5-star rating. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished and the staff professional yet friendly. The buffet breakfast is everything you'd hope for from a 5-star hotel. I especially like a good range of fruit to be included in a breakfast buffet. The buffet breakfast at this hotel has a good range of everything, from fruit to cereals, meats, cheeses, hot dishes, etc.
I like the well-quipped gym, not 24-hours, but open from early in the morning to late at night. There are a good selection of machines, kept in good working order, as well as complimentary apples, mineral water, etc.
The roof-top plunge pool and sun terraces have great views over Barcelona, and at night this area is transformed into a roof-top bar and restaurant. Get there early, or book ahead if you want a table!
This hotel is certainly one of the best of the centrally located 5-star hotels in Barcelona.
